People on the Move : Belkin Hires New Chief Financial Officer

Playa Vista, CA—Belkin hired George Platisa as its new chief financial officer. Platisa joins Belkin from Ascent Media Group, a media content management and distribution company, where he was CFO and executive vice president.

Platisa brings to his new role experience with strategic financial planning, global operations, inventory management, and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he served in executive roles at Price Waterhouse, Broadband Sports, Pacificare of California, and The Walt Disney Co.
