PMA@CES will offer a full array of intriguing conference sessions and remains the place to learn about new innovations in the digital imaging/photography market, reconnect with industry colleagues and establish vital new business connections.

Two tracks certainly worth taking note of are “Young Guns of the Photo Industry” and “Mobile Imaging: State of the Industry Address.” Both are promising to offer a clearer picture of opportunities in the photo industry and the future direction of digital imaging.

Young Guns, Session ID - PMA 1 at The Venetian on Tuesday, January 10, moderated by Antonio Neves, will look at how some of the industry’s best and brightest retailers are successfully using tools such as the latest digital technology and social media to lift their locations to new heights.

6Sight’s Tony Henning will talk about all things mobile imaging, including the continued evolution of the smartphone and the new directions this category is taking in his “Mobile Imaging: State of the Industry Address” scheduled for The Venetian on Tuesday, January 10, Session ID – PMA 4.

                                   DIMA Programming Hits the Mark
And the always lively and informative DIMA program kicks things off on January 8-9, 2012, at Bally’s Las Vegas. Among the very full schedule they are offering this year are five tracks we think look very interesting:

There’s Profit in Them Thar Hills: How to Host a Photo Safari. Sunday, January 8, Session ID - D10, Venetian. Speaker, Mark Comon

Good News for Retailers with On-Site Output. Sunday, January 8, Session ID - D12. Speaker, Kurt H. Freund

Social Media Boot Camp Parts 1-4. Monday, January 9, Session IDs – D21, D25, D29, D33. Boot Camp Drill Sergeant, Georgia McCabe

Imaging Retail Store Start-up: Creating a Brand. Monday, January 9, Session ID - D20. Speakers, Debara Medina, Ron Inkley; Moderator, Dr. Glenn Omura

Everything Old Is New Again: New Equipment for DI Output,” Monday, January 9, Session ID – IST3

Show organizers are referring to DIMA as the unsung hero of the PMA@CES experience, giving attendees exposure to cutting-edge concepts, they explain, that help them market imaging products and services better, to build a stronger business base and to increase revenue—in short, to simply become more efficient retailers.
