Alan Levine has
over 20 years experience in the publishing/sales industry, along
the way working closely with many Fortune 500 companies to
develop effective marketing programs. He began working at a
youth marketing firm developing creative marketing solutions
targeting the high school and college markets, eventually rising
to Eastern Sales Manager. From there Mr. Levine worked for the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology publication, Technology
Review as Regional Manager and heading-up their NYC office.
Following this, Mr. Levine went to work for the publication Golf
Digest, owned by the publishing house Conde Nast. There his
experience widened to include the development of print, web and
event marketing campaigns for clients.
Always wanting to own his own business and test his skills, Mr.
Levine acquired the company IRM Publications in April of 2005,
with his business partner, Jerry Grossman. The company now
publishes two magazines, the leading trade publication in the
photography industry, Photo Industry Reporter, as well as the
consumer-targeted magazine, Demystifying Digital which publishes
as an insert through USA Today at key times during the year.
Alan serves as Publisher for both magazines, as well as the web
site, photoreporter.com. |
